El Granada neighbors, in connection with Coastside CERT, organizing to help each other in the event of an emergency.
We discussed the steps that the EG CERT team is taking to reactivate our neighborhood efforts to get more El Granada neighbors connected and involved. This includes the March 27 practice drill in Quary Park, where we’ll practice setting up a BEEP station (Basic Emergency Equipment Package) with the tent and emergency supplies. We also discussed plans to create an El Granada neighborhood CERT day at the fire station, similar to the very successful one we did a couple of years, to introduce more people to CERT.
