EG FRS Radio Net
The El Granada FRS Radio (Walkie/Talkie) Task Force was set up to promote the use and practice of the radio as essential neighborhood communication during outages and other emergencies.
We hold our regular weekly practice Radio Net on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM, using Channel 21 on our FRS radios. To participate, just grab your FRS radio (can be a Midland GTX1000 or the equivalent), turn it on to Channel 21, and walk to a spot, inside or outside, where you think you get the best reception.
